POSITION DESCRIPTION
Atullya Foundation requires a consultant Translator who is able to translate the international Inclusion and DRRM related documents from English language to Nepali language. There will be at least 3 documents to translate. Name of documents are: Market Analysis in Emergencies, Humanitarian inclusion standards and Minimum economic recovery standard.
Specific responsibilities of the Translator will be:
- Read the documents that are in English language, and get prepared for a briefing meeting,
- Get a briefing from Atullya Foundation ,
- Translate one document at a time as briefed,
- Share draft translation and collect feedback from Atullya Foundation,
- Submit the hard copy and soft copy of translated modules,
- Translate rest of the documents following the same process.
Total number of pages will be 400-500 and the average font size is 14 in word format for you to translate in Nepali from English.
The applicant will submit an application letter citing his/her prior experience and proposed rate per page, other conditions if any. If required, pages will be counted as per the English documents of Market Analysis in Emergencies, Humanitarian inclusion standards and Minimum economic recovery standard. Atullya Foundation will shortlist and inform only the shortlisted candidates for further selection.
At the completion of selection process, a contract will be signed between Atullya Foundation and Translator, citing timeline for order, advance, delivery and other conditions.
